Echoes From The Past (2021) seeks to break down the stigma surrounding traumatic experiences with an inclusive approach, not only validating seemingly “trivial” experiences but also giving people the tools to move on with their lives, integrating their painful experiences into a more fulfilling life narrative. Tom hopes that his book will offer explanations as to why difficult experiences can lodge themselves in our minds as well as offer insights from his private practice, shedding light on what his clients have taught him about his own journey and, more importantly, the journey of life.

But, You Never Left (2020) explores the concept of identity: why it’s malleable, why we lose it, what happens when we do and how to build a new one, how to “find ourselves”, so to speak. This book aims to help those who feel lost, find their feet and re-connect with deeper, more authentic versions of themselves. His hope is that this book will be your guide. By drawing on a range of psychological theories as well as his own anecdotes from his clinical practice, he hopes to convey the idea that times of existential uncertainty are truly times for significant personal growth! This is your chance to explore your inner world and reconcile with a deeper part of who you are.

Yes I’m Fine, Just Tired (2018) is a first person account of how Tom went from being a young adult, disabled by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, panic attacks and anxiety, to an adult content with who he is. Tom hopes his experiences and the ten mental health tools included in his book will help people either directly or indirectly affected with anxiety and OCD understand themselves, learn to mange their mental health and accept themselves for who they are. With the ever-increasing amount of distraction in our world, it is imperative we spend more time with ourselves to get to know ourselves.
